My 4-year-old LOVES to play dress up. We have a bag that is overflowing with princess dresses and other costumes, and she dons one to wear around the house and when we go out to run errands almost daily!

So, when I got the opportunity to review a Super Mario Brothers costume from CostumeSuperCenter.com, you better believe I jumped at the chance to add to Lucy’s collection. And, I’m sure you can probably guess what we picked – Princess Peach!

I was just as excited as Lucy was for this to arrive. My brothers and I were HUGE Super Mario Brothers fans growing up, and my husband and I still play the video games on our Wii!

When the costume arrived, we tore right into it. The costume came with the dress, a crown and gloves. We dressed her up in it right away, and she looked SO cute! It was a little big (which was totally my fault – I always try to buy a size bigger in costumes so she can wear them longer, and it was bigger than I expected), but that just means she’ll get to wear it for a couple more years! That makes this Momma happy! It’s a very well-made costume and easy for my little one to get in and out of on her own.

My nephew dressed up like Toad last year for Halloween, so now we have a Princess Peach and a Toad in the family. Now, we need a Super Mario Brothers costume for my other nephew, and we’ll have an adorable trio! I’m thinking dressing them as a group for Halloween will be adorable!

I am always looking for the best deal when I’m booking hotels, and I have my go-to sites that I always check when we’re planning a trip or a weekend away. And now, I have one more to add to my list – TravelPony.com!

I had never heard of TravelPony.com before I had the chance to review the company’s website, and I have to say, I really liked my experience! The website is still growing and expanding throughout the country and around the world, and, right now, you can book hotels in several major U.S. cities, such as New York, Las Vegas and Chicago, as well as cities in other countries like London, Madrid and Paris.

My husband and I booked a couple of nights in a hotel in Atlanta for a little weekend trip away in a couple of months. Even if we can’t travel far from home, we like to get away every so often and leave our daughter with one of the set of grandparents to have some time with each other. Booking the trip was super easy, and there was one feature I REALLY loved – when you search for hotels in your city of choice, you’ll see prices from competing websites listed below the TravelPony price. That makes price comparisons SO much easier and means I don’t have to have multiple browse windows open while I’m trying to find the best deal!

The hotel we wanted wasn’t available for the two nights we’re looking at, so we’re going to try out a new hotel in town. I’m super excited to give a new place a try! And, I love that it’s refundable. That takes some of the stress out of booking a hotel room!

I also love that you can modify your trip details right there on the website! I accidentally put in the wrong checkout date, so I just clicked “modify” and was able to update our trip details in just a few seconds! None of the other travel websites I’ve used have had this feature, and I think it’s fabulous!

We’re hoping to take a little weekend trip to Chicago later this year (we DO have two baseball teams to see play there, after all), and I will definitely be using TravelPony to book our hotel. The site is so easy to use, and the prices are lower than other sites I’ve used. That’s a win-win for me!
