My husband and I had been talking about getting a dog for our daughter but, with three cats, it wasn’t something that we planned on doing right away. Until an ice storm in February hit, and my husband found an abandoned dog at the gas station down the street. Of course, we took her in, and as soon as the ice melted and the roads were passable, my daughter and I headed to Dollar Tree to get some necessities, including a leash.

We really wanted to try a retractable leash for her because, although the cheaper leash worked great, she is VERY active and runs WAY faster than we do (OK, than *I* do). So, when we got the chance to review a leash from iLeesh.com, we were really excited!

I picked the “I Love My Dog” leash because, at the time, we didn’t know what kind of dog she is (we since have found out she’s a rat terrier). I love that it’s generic so that it works for any dog. We can use it for any future dogs as well! But, if you want a leash that is specific to your dog, you probably can find it at iLeesh. There are 72 leashes each featuring a different brand of dog to choose from. I think they have them all covered!

When we got the leash, we couldn’t wait to try it out. We LOVE it! It doesn’t go out too far, but it goes out far enough to give our dog enough room to run ahead of us as we walk her. And, my favorite – I can stand under the overhang in front of our door when it’s raining while she does her business! I’m all for not getting wet!
