My dad made it to all my softball games & tennis matches. I knew I could always count on him being there.
My favorite memory of my Dad is when I was 8 I sprained my ankle the day before the last day of school. He went to the school to get my report card and was told I had to be there to get it. We didn’t have a car and couldn’t afford a taxi so my dad picked me up and carried me in his arms all the way to school and back.
Wow! What an amazing dad! That really is a touching story, thanks so much for sharing it with us.
One of my fondest memories of my dad is his worth ethic. He never missed a day of work. Ever. And when he was at home, he was always working in the yard, keeping it meticulously manicured, or puttering about the house. He was a good man.
